Who we are

Avner Dynamics, Inc. is a holding company incorporated in Wyoming. It holds ownership interests in a group of operating businesses and provides them with capital, governance, and oversight. Each subsidiary is wholly owned and is run by its own management team.

What we do

Our work is ownership rather than operation. We set financial standards, allocate capital between businesses, hold management accountable for results, and carry the administrative and financing functions that are inefficient to duplicate inside each company.

Mission

To own and grow durable operating businesses, and to be a better long-term owner of them than the alternatives available to their founders and managers.

Vision

A group of well-run companies, each strong enough to stand on its own, held together by common ownership, consistent financial discipline, and a shared reluctance to sell.

Values

• Candour. Accurate reporting, including when the news is bad.
• Ownership. Decisions made as owners of the whole, not stewards of a quarter.
• Discipline. Capital is finite and is allocated where it earns the most.
• Autonomy. The people closest to the customer make the operating decisions.
• Durability. We prefer a slower business that lasts to a faster one that does not.

Operating philosophy

We do not centralise operations. Management teams keep authority over pricing, hiring, product, and service, and are accountable for the results those decisions produce. What we centralise is capital, financial reporting standards, and the relationships — banking, insurance, and professional — that are stronger negotiated once for the group.

Long-term approach

We are not a fund and we do not manage outside capital. There is no fund life, no committed capital to deploy on a schedule, and no obligation to return capital by a certain date. That removes the main reason most owners are forced to sell a business at the wrong moment.
